  • The Netgear EAX15 should be plugged into a power source.
  • Use an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi to connect your device to the EAX15.
  • Use a web browser to navigate to the Netgear EAX15 configuration page by entering the IP address by default, which is usually 192.168.1.250 or mywifiext.
  • Use the default username and password to log in, which are often “admin” for both.

How To Login Netgear EAX15 Extender ?

  • The Netgear EAX15 should be plugged into a power source.
  • The WPS button on the EAX15 should be pressed.
  • Click your router’s WPS button within two minutes.
  • Watch for the EAX15’s WPS LED to solidly turn white, confirming a successful connection.
  • Steps 2-4 must be repeated if the connection is lost.
  • After connecting, move the EAX15 to the best spot for more Wi-Fi coverage.
  • To make sure the extender is operating properly, test your connection.

  • Start your internet browser and type 192.168.1.250 or mywifiext.net setup into the address box.
  • Use the standard username and password to log in.

How To Update Firmware Netgear EAX15 Extender ?

  • Use an Ethernet cable or the EAX15 Wi-Fi network to connect your device.
  • Launch a browser and navigate to mywifiext.net login or 192.168.1.250.
  • Enter your password and username to log in.
  • Go to Maintenance or Settings and choose Firmware Update.
  • If there is an update available, click Check for Updates and follow the on-screen directions.
  • After the upgrade, restart the extender for the modifications to take effect.
