  • You can either make a new account or log in using the default credentials.
  • To link the extender to your current WiFi network, simply follow the instructions.

How do I login to the Netgear EX6000 setup?

  • Turn on and plug in the Netgear EX6000 extender.

  • To customise the settings for your extender, use the setup wizard.

  • Link your gadget to the WiFi network of the EX6000 extender.
  • To reach the admin user interface, open your internet browser and type mywifiext net setup.
  • Input your username and password.
  • Go to the Administration or Settings tab and select the Firmware Update section.
  • To find available firmware upgrades, click Check.
  • Select Update to download and install the firmware if there is one available.
  • Await for the update to be applied and for the extender to reboot automatically.

 

  • Find the Netgear EX6000 extender’s reset option.
  • Click and hold the Reset button with a paperclip or other small object for approximately 7 seconds.
  • When the Power LED begins to blink, signalling that the reset is underway, release the button.
  • Allow the extender to completely restart; this could take a few minutes.
  • Adjust the extender’s settings as necessary after it has been reset.
