  • After plugging in the Netgear EX6250 extender, give it some time to warm up.
  • Join the WiFi network of the extender using your device.
  • Launch a web browser and type mywifiext.net setup into it.
  • When asked, sign in or register for an account.
  • Choose the WiFi network you currently use and provide the password.
  • After the extender connects, move it to a better area of coverage.

  1. Link into the WiFi network of the extender.
  2. Launch a web browser.
  3. In the URL bar, type mywifiext.net login.
  4. Put in your password and username.
  5. Press the Login button.
  6. Observe the directions displayed on the screen.
  7. Adjust the extender’s settings as necessary.
  8. To save the changes, click Apply.
  • Open your internet browser and go to mywifiext net setup.
  • Put in your login information.
  • Click Settings, then choose Firmware Update.
  • Look for any updates that are available.
  • Select Update and follow the on-screen directions, if available.
  • Wait for the extender’s reboot and the end of the upgrade.

  • Look for the Netgear EX6250 extender’s reset button.
